Scott Campbell, Co-Founder

Scott Campbell is the President of the Howard Baker Forum, a Washington-based public affairs group and a frequent convenor of roundtables, conferences, and studies worldwide. He is the Co-Founder with William Deckelman of the AI Collaborative, the newly formed global collaboration focused on rapidly emerging artificial intelligence and the risks and opportunities it presents.

Scott, a political and public policy strategist and a lawyer, provides advice to U.S. and foreign companies with interests and undertakings in energy, homeland security, technology, trade and foreign direct investments. He also advises leading public and private research laboratories in the United States and abroad.

Scott is internationally recognized for his knowledge and experience in energy policy, national security, technology, trade and has led or contributed to important programs on cyber security and privacy in Europe, nuclear energy cooperation with Japan, maritime security and counter-terrorism, and direct foreign investment by Chinese companies in the U.S. tech and energy sectors. He has twice been a member of the Secretary of Energy Advisory Board and has served on numerous commissions and committees focusing on energy and technology policy.

 

Bill Deckelman, Co-Founder

Bill Deckelman is the Co-Founder with Scott Campbell of the AI Collaborative.  Bill currently serves as the Chief Legal Officer at Andersen, leveraging his extensive experience in corporate governance, legal strategy, and digital transformation. Before joining Andersen, Bill was Executive Vice President and General Counsel at DXC Technology, where he played a pivotal role in guiding the company through its merger with HPE Enterprise Services and Computer Sciences Corporation.

Bill consistently drives digital transformation within legal and commercial organizations. He co-founded the Digital Legal Exchange, a global institute promoting collaboration among law, business, and technology experts to foster digital innovation in the legal industry. He also contributed to initiatives at the Singapore Academy of Law, focusing on the future of law in the digital age. His work in these areas has garnered recognition from industry peers, enabling him to advance the operational landscape of legal organizations in the modern business environment.

Throughout his career, Bill has provided guidance on legal and strategic issues such as corporate governance, regulatory matters, and complex transactions aimed at streamlining legal and commercial management.
